Yanakie
Photographs and Map Of Yanakie – which is the last major town on the way to Wilsons Promontory in South Gippsland. There is boat access from several places on either side of the road on this thin peninsula with a mix of dairy farm land and natural bush found in the Corner Inlet Coastal Park and the Shallow Inlet Coastal Park.
Read more about the town, the local area, the boat ramps and facilities on the Yanakie page on the South Gippsland Website. You will also find details of accommodation, adventure tours, charter fishing and other things to see and do in the local area.
Yanakie tends to attract the fishing enthusiasts because of the easy access to great boating facilities and varied locations for catching numerous fish varieties. It’s so close to the gateway of Wilsons Promontory National Park that you’d be crazy to consider staying anywhere else.
