Wild Turkey In The Bush

Photos Of Australian Bush Turkey (Alectura lathami), which is often called the Scrub Turkey or Brush Turkey and is commonly found in bushland on the east coast of Australia.

These unusual looking birds eat the scraps from the forest floor providing a useful recycling service, adding compost, stiring up the leaf litter and stand out in a crowd with their red and yellow head. This album of pictures is a selection of different poses and angles of one turkey photographed in the wild in a national park.
