This food market in Wangfujing is renowned across China for its bizarre fried foods such as sheeps testicles, scorpions, crickets, snake, silkworm, dogs penis, salamander, sea horse, whole baby pigeon, octopus and so much more. The toffee covering the tropical fruits were dripping temptingly on the ground in the hot summer heat and the noodle dishes looked delicious.
After seeing the tourists dare each other to eat the weird and wonderful food so blatantly on display in this extremely popular market, I just couldn’t stomach even the sweetest looking delights. You just have to see it to believe it!
