Toora
Photographs, Information And Map Of Toora – The South Gippsland Highway is the main access point for the small township of Toora, which is found between Foster and Welshpool (see map at the bottom of the page) with Bennison and Port Franklin also close by.
These days, Toora is most known for its great pub meals, the caravan park with excellent facilities, The Heritage Pear Orchard, the Toora Wind Farms, one of the few heated swimming pools in the area and the bird hide near the boat ramp at Corner Inlet which attracts the fishing and boating enthusiasts.
You can also find a well stocked Antique/Bargain Store with its adjoining Windmill Cafe, a Post Office with the best range of gifts anywhere in the local area, hairdresser, beautician, Bendigo Bank and a small supermarket among other things.
