Photographs taken at Mirboo North and Darlimurla six months after the bush fires in February 2009.
These pictures show the Mirboo North – Boolarra Rail Trail and the forest at Lyrebird Forest Walk as it is regenerating vigorously on top of blackened tree trunks.
Images also show where the fires damaged park benches, walking tracks and bridges which are slowly being rebuilt or replaced by gangs of workers and volunteers.
